Description (En) | The MSc program in Health Information Management aims at educating experts who will enable the health system to function more effectively and efficiently, i.e. to improve and preserve the health of all citizens; adequate response to citizens’ expectations and demands for health care and ensuring a fair financial contribution for all citizens. After graduation at MSc studies „Information healthcare management“ students will adopt a systematic approach to research, analysis and evaluation of the national health system and will be able to conduct comparative analyses of the performance of the national health system with a focus on funding and service delivery. Students will also gain the knowledge and skills of comparing international and domestic health policies, their reach and limitations, as well as policy development with negotiation and advocacy skills. They will learn how to manage changes in the health care system, manage conflicts in health care institutions, and control the quality of provided services. They will acquire the necessary knowledge on how to make financial plans and budgets, how to manage projects and learn the importance of using data in order to improve the performance and quality of services in the healthcare system. |
