An infobox with catalogue information is displayed on the left. If present, you can follow a link to its previous version. A catalogue is hierarchically divided into domains that cover a general field of knowledge. Domains are subdivided into learning objectives that describe the knowledge to be imparted on a specific topic. Learning objectives themselves can be assigned subordinate learning objectives.

Domains of a catalogue

The table right to the catalogue infobox lists all domains related to the viewed catalogue. To visit a domain page and see all its related learning objectives, click the arrow symbol in the first column. If you would like to create a new domain, click the button "Add a new domain". You will then be redirected to the input form. All newly created domains are assigned a unique identifier as the page name by HI-LONa starting with "D-PIN". (Also see Help:Domain Page).

Learning objectives of a catalogue

Underneath the infobox and domains table all learning objectives contained in the catalogue are listed with a short description of its content and a reference to its domain. Depending on the level of knowledge the educator is expected to convey, each learning objective is assigned "verbs" corresponding to the levels 1 to 4 (4 being the most profound level of understanding). To view the page of an individual learning objective, click the arrow symbol in the first column. If you would like to create a new learning objective, click the button "Add a new learning objective". You will be redirected to the input form. All newly created learning objective pages are assigned a unique identifier as the page name by HI-LONa starting with "LZ-PIN". (Also see Help:Learning Objective Page).
